This is a wonderful reminder that when we have communities unwilling to vote, get involved with candidates running for office, and a council filled with a one-party majority, we are doing a HUGE disservice to the people of Massachusetts. She has personally worked with lawyers on topics such as education, medical, and religious beliefs.Īs this role will approve or deny nominations for judges and members of the parole board as well as approve or deny recommendations for pardons and commuting sentences, what is your familiarity with the criminal justice and legal system? Dashe's professional and personal experience has had the opportunity to follow the state law regarding children, education, child custody issues, Department of Children and Family, along with family members who have experienced domestic violence, harassment orders, and much more. We need judges and elected officials who understand the challenges we face and have the capacity to mentally and emotionally support our community.ĭashe hopes to bring her knowledge and expertise in psychology and organizational leadership to help appoint stable judges, Justice of the Peace, and commute the sentences of murders. She believes that mental health will be a huge focus in the public arena over the next few years and that it is imperative that we have an understanding of fairness and honesty, while having compassion to the fact that each citizen's circumstances are unique.
